Norway’s largest exhibition and convention centre in Lillestrøm outside Oslo is an international arena for exhibitions, conventions and events.Norges Varemesse is a self-owning foundation, established in 1920, with a board and council drawn from a number of industry and government bodies.
These include the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), the Federation of Norwegian Commercial and Service Enterprises (HSH), Innovation Norway, the Norwegian Fishermen’s Association, the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Federation of Norwegian Agricultural Cooperatives.
We create value for Norwegian and international business through an offer to visitors, exhibitors and organisers which is cost-effective and tailored to the market.
Norges Varemesse will be the leading force in Norway for developing exhibitions as a cost-effective marketing tool, so that business can strengthen its earnings and competitive position.
Norges Varemesse develops exhibitions for its own account and on behalf of others, offers its facilities for hire to external organisers of exhibitions or congresses, and provides other services which support the value and effectiveness of exhibitions.
Through the continuous development of products and competent employees, a focus on customer needs and the provision of efficient and flexible frame conditions, the foundation will offer cost-effective services tailored to the market and create added value for events.
We are centrally placed close to Lillestrøm station, only 11 minutes by rail from Oslo’s central station and 13 from Gardermoen airport, or 15 minutes by road from the city centre.
We organise both trade fairs and exhibitions for the general public. About half of these are our own events, whilst the remainder are owned by external lessees.
