01.General Information

 

FUNDACIÓN UNIVERSITARIA LOS LIBERTADORES, is a Colombian University situated in Bogota that offers undergraduate, specialization, technology, extension and foreign languages courses.

 

FUNDACIÓN UNIVERSITARIA LOS LIBERTADORES is a non-for-profit, higher education institution, founded in 1982 by an acknowledged group of national personalities based on Bolivar, Santander and Nariño’s principles, dreams and ideals.

 

 

 

 

FUNDACIÓN UNIVERSITARIA LOS LIBERTADORES has 17 academic programs in seven faculties, grouped as follows:

 

  • Faculty of Communication Sciences.
  • Faculty of Economics and Accounting.
  • Faculty of Educational Sciences.
  • Faculty of Law, Political Science and International Relations.
  • Faculty of Management.
  • Faculty of Engineering.
  • School of Psychology.

 

FUNDACIÓN UNIVERSITARIA LOS LIBERTADORES has also offices in Cartagena, Colombia, including programs such as:

 

  • Economics.
  • Business Administration (remote).
  • Tourism operations.
  • Tourism management technology.

 

Research is really important for the FUNDACIÓN UNIVERSITARIA LOS LIBERTADORES. For that reason, the University has created a General Investigation System addressed to young researchers and research groups. Each one of the pre-mentioned faculties has lines of research seeking to resolve concerns and questions and trying to meet the demands and needs of reality.

 

Among the research topics of the Faculty of Engineering are:

 

  • Automation and transport.
  • Software engineering.
  • Signals and Systems.
  • Alternative energy resources.

 

Apart from the research groups, there are also projects created to satisfy the market needs that seek development in areas that have not been explored much.
