Are Physicians and Health Plans Ready for Reform?

Details:

Only two weeks left to complete DATAMARK survey on healthcare reform readiness

El Paso, Texas (PRWEB) June 02, 2012

DATAMARK, Inc., a leading international business process outsourcing firm based in El Paso, Texas, encourages executives, physicians and IT professionals in the health insurance and healthcare provider sectors to participate in a national survey designed to gauge the industry's readiness for reform as the U.S. Supreme Court mulls its decision on the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

The opportunity to participate in the survey will close on June 15.

The DATAMARK survey seeks to shine a light on the industry's readiness for a possible surge in the number of healthcare customers, with a particular focus on the business processes and IT infrastructure to support the implementation of Electronic Health Records (EHRs), ICD-10 coding systems, and other elements of healthcare reform. DATAMARK serves the healthcare sector by delivering large-enterprise mailroom management and document processing solutions to healthcare payors and providers.

"As a service provider, we are interested in getting a much clearer picture of the business process needs of insurance companies, hospitals and physicians," said David Peregrino, marketing coordinator for DATAMARK. "Will manual data entry suffice for an expected surge in health plan enrollments? Or do organizations prefer a software solution? Are organizations struggling so much with business processes that they need long-term consulting engagements? This survey will help the business services sector deliver appropriate and effective solutions to healthcare organizations."

Understanding that executives and health professionals are pressed for time, the survey is concise, comprised of 12 questions that can be answered in a matter minutes.

"We're calling it our "Dirty Dozen" survey," Peregrino said. "It's designed to give us a quick snapshot of healthcare reform readiness in this time of uncertainty, as we await the Supreme Court's decision on the PPACA, which is expected by the end of June. The information gathered will shape an in-depth follow-up survey—planned for later this year—once the dust has settled."

DATAMARK will make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project for every completed survey.

Healthcare provider and payor organizations with operations in the U.S. are invited to take the survey here.
