Outfit7
Inc., a subsidiary of Out Fit 7 Ltd, the global entertainment company
behind the blockbuster Talking Friends mobile apps, announced the
launch of a romantic new app, “Tom Loves Angela,” which brings
the Talking Friends characters to a new level by allowing users
to have conversations with characters in the app. For the first time,
users will be able to experience the funny, witty and often cheeky
personality of Tom’s favorite feline, Angela. Fans will be able to chat
with Angela about everything from love, to movies, to travel, to her
favorite cat, and listen to her responses. The app also lets users help
Tom woo Angela by putting fans in the driver’s seat to deliver sweet
nothings from Tom’s mouth to Angela’s ears.
To complement the love story between Tom and Angela, Outfit7 launched a
new collaboration with Walt Disney Records to debutTalking Tom’s
foray into singing with the duet “You Get Me.” The original number
written by Jamie Houston--the producer/songwriter behind several “Hannah
Montana” and “High School Musical” hits, will be available June 12 in
the iTunes Store.
“’Tom Loves Angela’ brings an entirely new level of entertainment that
lets fans emotionally engage in a way never before possible with the
beloved Talking Friends characters,” said Samo Login, CEO and
Co-Founder of Outfit7 Inc. “We’re giving the Talking Friends
users a more engaging experience by giving fans direct access to the
characters’ inner thoughts and emotions.”
The launch of “Tom Loves Angela” extends Outfit7’s ability to
promote self-expression through fun, user-generated entertainment.
Featuring new technology and impressive design elements, “Tom Loves
Angela” delivers a truly immersive experience with stunning animation
and design elements never before seen in the Talking Friends apps.
“‘You Get Me’ is an inspiring duet with lyrics that convey a heartfelt
message that perfectly mirrors Tom and Angela’s relationship,” said Rob
Souriall, Vice-President of Marketing, Walt Disney Records. “We’re
thrilled to be collaborating with Outfit7 to help them extend the
beloved Talking Friends characters into a new medium.”
