A dependable multi-service packet optical solution for the cost sensitive metro access and cellular markets, the BG-30 carries data, SDH and PDH services over fiber, Microwave Radio or a combination of both, playing a critical role in the evolution from legacy to next generation networks. This platform allows carriers to leverage their SDH installed base while offering a mix of PCM, PDH, and carrier-class data services including Ethernet L1 and L2 and MPLS-based services as well as to build an Ethernet overlay from the same network element.

BG-30 works in concert with the entire ECI portfolio to provide a complete solution tied together by ECI's 1Net architectural framework.
