World Class Aviation Academy

The World Class Aviation Academy is a Dutch company that offers tailor-made technology courses in aircraft maintenance, intended for professionals in the aviation industry. It provides training for specific aircraft types, this may be e.g. a F16 or a Chinook. Besides, the World Class Aviation Academy is also involved with other aviation related courses like Human Factors or Technical English. The company has partnered up with commercial parties as well as with the vocational education sector to keep the quality of training at a high level. As a consequence of this collaboration World Class Aviation Academy is a unique concept in the aviation world.

The company is currently working with several key companies of the aerospace sector, such as Boeing, Terma and Eurocopter. The first two companies also have an office in the company’s premises in Hoogerheide. These companies see the training centre of the World Class Aviation Academy as an opportunity to gain access to the European market - and eventually the world market as well.

Furthermore, the company collaborates with several prestigious vocational institutes such as the Aircraft Maintenance & Training School. Both training institutes are members of the Aviation Training Group holding. The World Class Aviation Academy provides type-specific courses to professionals working in the aviation industry, whereas the Aircraft Maintenance & Training School provides a basic training to students at intermediary vocational schools who are starting their study of Aviation Technology. The elementary training course of the Aircraft Maintenance & Training School has been certified for the most part by EASA (Part-66 & Part-147). Another institute with which the World Class Aviation Academy works together is the West Brabant Regional Training Centre. These collaborations allows the company to keep abreast with the latest educational methods. Finally, the company is also collaborating closely with municipalities and the Province, by participating in several government projects and initiatives.

Finally, all content of a type course given by the World Class Aviation Academy is determined in consultation with the customers in order to ensure that the courses match exactly to the requirements.
