Could you please tell us about the place of Condor in the national and international market?

In South America (including Brazil) Condor is the market leader in the Non-lethal arena. Several years ago we decided to expand internationally and today we are a respectful international player. We are one of the Top 5 suppliers in this field in the world.

What are the next steps and the priorities of Condor?

Our priority is our customers` satisfaction. We strive to provide excellent pre and post-sales services because this is one of the most important areas where we can differentiate ourselves from the competitors. High quality products, quick delivery and competitive prices are no longer a point of difference but rather pre-requisites to stay in the market.

What are the main difficulties that the company is currently facing?

The main difficulty is the fact that the Non-lethal concept is still not correctly understood by all the stakeholders. Disseminating and informing our prospective and current customers about the possibilities, capacities and uses of the non-lethal concept and products is the most important part of our work. Our job is not only manufacturing products but mainly protecting human lives and human rights, while helping the law enforcement agencies to maintain peace, law and order.

Why someone should choose Condor to do business?

We manufacture high quality products (in fact we are ISO 9001 certified), and we manufacture them rather quickly, while we care about the environment (we are also ISO 14001 certified too). Besides, we have a competent and flexible structure which allows us customizing products, and still manage to offer competitive prices. We try very hard to give our customers the best service possible throughout their purchase cycle.
Our country is friendly to everybody but most of all we think customers should choose our company because we have a passion for non-lethality, we believe in saving lives and in respecting human rights, we sincerely want law enforcement agencies and military campaigns to have the correct means for the gradual use of the force. It is important to declare that CONDOR, different from most of the other companies of the market, has its production dedicated exclusively to Non-lethal products. When a company has a passion, this is the company to work with.

Is Condor currently investing in a new technology?

Condor is always investing in new products and technologies. In 2009 we launched almost 20 new products, including a broad line of 40X46 non-lethal ammunition for several applications. 2010 will not be different.

Could you make a comment about the international Aerospace and Defense Industry and its orientations?

The International Defense Industry is a very demanding one, first of all because of the cultural and philosophical differences around the globe. Conflicts have changed though. Nowadays we see real wars everyday in cities, with innocent people walking around in the operational theatre. There are important needs: protect innocent lives, identify and separate real threats from non-combatants, respect human rights and protect the environment and property. Non-lethal technologies help achieve that. There is still a lack of understanding on how non-lethal technologies should be employed by the Armed Forces but a few areas are being developed quickly, such as Peacekeeping Operations, where Non-lethal weapons and ammunitions are already consecrated. We believe more and more applications will be developed in the near future and as technology evolves the Defense Industry will be strengthened with the use of Non-lethal technologies.
