Christian Hadjiminas Chairman and CEO
Mr. Hadjiminas is a graduate from Columbia University (1981) with a B.A. in Economics (Magna Cum Laude) and MBA in Bus/Finance from Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania) in 1983. After working as a Senior Trader at Phibro-Salomon Inc. and thereafter in 1987, he set up his own company in New York, he returned in Greece in 1989 and established European Finance Associates (EFA) in Athens. EFA specializes in financial services and more specifically, in offsets and investment banking. EFA is involved in designing, negotiating and implementing offset projects in a number of countries primarily in the area of high technology investments. EFA owns a number of companies in Greece, of which Epicos is part of.
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Mr. Talamagas holds a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University in Athens, and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the City University Business School.
Mr. Talamagas worked for Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) with focus on IT projects in the financial sector in Greece and Spain. He joined EFA in 1998 and has been involved with the management of offsets contracts. He has also been engaged in IT projects, the development of the Epicos B2B e-business portal and other various projects of the group.
Mr. Talamagas is the Chief Operating Officer of Epicos since September 2007 but has been with the company since its initial conception back in 2000. Working in the defence market since 1998 he has brought a significant experience, of the international aerospace and defence industry, as well as offsets and industrial cooperation into Epicos.
Vice President - International Business
Mr. Purewal holds a BSc (Hons) in Politics & Law from the University of London. Prior to joining Epicos, Jacques had worked for a number of International Information Technology Companies in the capacity of Sales and Business Development in the United Kingdom.
He joined Epicos in 2001 as the Sales & Marketing Director. In his current role, as VP - International Business, his primary focus has been on International Offsets, specifically responsible for Markets, namely Europe and South America.
Mr. Karakatsanis holds an MA in European Policy & Economy from Brunel University in London. He has worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager for New Media companies in the United Kingdom and Greece.
Michael joined EPICOS as a Sales Account manager in 2003. He is currently responsible for the global sales of EPICOS products and Services while he is also occupied with EPICOS world-wide marketing activities.
Senior Project Manager
Mr. George Menexis is an Electrical and Computer Technology Engineer, from the Polytechnic School of Patras, Greece and holds an MSc in Engineering Business Management, from the University of Warwick, UK.
Before joining Epicos George has worked for three years in THALES Electronic Systems S.A., part of THALES Group, as Bid Manager for large turn-key projects and as a Program Manager for defence programs involving the production of electronic equipment and sub-systems. He has also worked in INTRACOM S.A., with responsibilities in Product Management for ALCATEL digital microwave radios and Project Management for digital microwave radios contracts in Greece and the Balkan countries.
He is the Senior Project Manager responsible for the implementation of Epicos Block Deals, supervising a team of Country Project Managers, ensuring customers benefit to the maximum of the services provided within each Block Deal country.
Dr. Athanasios Potsis
Senior Manager, Industrial Cooperation
Dr. Potsis holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. He also holds a Diploma in Electrical & Computer Technology from the University of Patras- Polytechnic School.
He was presented with fellowships throughout his diploma studies by the Greek Ministry of Education. He was also awarded with a scholarship from the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company – EADS for his main Ph.D research. He was awarded by the Technical Chamber of Greece for excellent scientific achievements.
Dr. Potsis has worked at the German Aerospace Centre, Institute of Radar Systems, as a Member of Scientific Staff in the Digital Signal Processing Department. and he was involved in the fields of Radar electronics, Radar signal processing and Electronic Warfare Systems.
He has worked at the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company as an external technical consultant and he was involved in several defence related programs. He has also worked for INTRACOM Defense Electronics as a Product Marketing Engineer and he was responsible for new products development as well as for international cooperation in the field of electronics and sensors.
Athanasios joined Epicos in 2006 and he is responsible for the development of new business opportunities for Industrial cooperation through indirect offsets in Global scale.
Mr. Petros Eritsos holds an MSc in Information Technology and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, Canada.
Prior to joining the Company, he held similar position for Intralot S.A. where he managed several IT projects for international clients in Cyprus, Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, and New Zealand. In his previous positions he played a major role in the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise systems and storage solutions, and headed the Research and Development activities of the Companies.
Petros joined Epicos in 2007 and leads the Company's Technical Department focusing on the Information Systems and the implementation of the new Epicos platform.
