Supply Chain Management Expert Dr. Larry Lapide to Speak at QAD Explore 2017 Customer Conference

His presentation will take place Wednesday, May 10.

Dr. Lapide is a recognized expert in supply chain management with over 40 years of experience in industry, consulting, business research and academia. Most recently, he was the Director of Demand Management at the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics (CTL). He also managed the launch of MIT’s Supply Chain 2020 Project, which explored the future of supply chain management.

In 2001, Supply Chain Technology News magazine recognized Dr. Lapide as one of four top thought leaders in supply chain. In 2007, DCVelocity magazine named him a Logistics Rainmaker. Dr. Lapide received the Lifetime Achievement in Business Forecasting & Planning Award given by the Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning in 2012.

Dr. Lapide is a frequent presenter at supply chain events. He is a co-author of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) book, E-Business: The Impact on Supply Chain and Logistics. He holds a BSEE from The Cooper Union, an MS in EE from MIT and a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
