Primed for the Future: Paragon Films Hires Keith Lay as VP of Sales & Marketing

Paragon Films, a market-leading manufacturer of value added, high performance stretch film products, announced today the appointment of Keith Lay to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Lay is Paragon’s third high-profile addition since the company was acquired by Wind Point Partners in December 2016. Darin Tang was hired to lead the organization as CEO and Mike Hildreth joined Paragon as Director of Analytics and Training. Lay’s hire solidifies Paragon’s executive leadership team and further strengthens the foundation for the company’s future growth.

“We’re incredibly lucky to have Keith join Paragon’s leadership team,” said Tang. “Keith’s successful background and leadership skills perfectly compliment Paragon’s vision for the future and will be an incredible asset moving forward. I know we’ll all benefit from his insight and talents.”

Lay joins Paragon from FP International, where he served as Vice President of North American Sales for seven years. During his tenure, Lay facilitated FP International’s expansion of its sustainable packaging solutions to achieve annual sales of over $100 million worldwide. His other previous leadership roles in the packaging industry include: Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Sekisui TA Industries, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Roplast Industries, Central Region Manager at Linear Stretch Film, and Vice President of International Sales at Anchor Continental.

Lay begins his new role at Paragon’s Broken Arrow headquarters on May 8, 2017 and will focus on advancing the company’s well-established platform of technically innovative leadership and sustainability in the packaging and industrial film markets.

Building upon Lay’s hire, Paragon is realigning additional roles within the senior leadership team. Mike Fritts will assume his role as Chief Financial Officer and Rolly Cochlin will be Paragon’s Chief Operations Officer.

“Mike has done a tremendous job leading and managing the sales team over the past year,” said Tang. “I greatly appreciate his efforts during this period.”

Going forward, Paragon is excited to have Fritts and Cochlin positioned to be fully focused on their current roles to support anticipated growth and acquisitions.
