Electrofusion fittings complement Performance Pipe’s line of heat-fused butt and socket fittings and its polyethylene pipe products. Performance Pipe will now also be able to deliver the significant benefits that electrofusion fittings bring to various industry applications, including making fusion easier in hard-to-access areas, such as trenches and around other pipes.

Performance Pipe will be the exclusive distributor in the United States for Plasson USA’s electrofusion fittings in natural gas distribution applications. Plasson has been a leading manufacturer of electrofusion fittings for over 40 years and tests its electrofusion fittings to ensure the fittings meet or exceed ASTM D-2513, ASTM D-3350, ASTM F-1055, and ASTM F-2897.

Performance Pipe and Plasson each produce fittings in ISO 9001 certified facilities and focus on safety, quality, and reliability. Both electrofusion fittings manufactured by Plasson and heat-fused fittings manufactured by Performance Pipe will be available for purchase from Performance Pipe. Visit www.performancepipe.com for additional details.
