Plex Systems Donates $25,000 to mikeroweWORKS Foundation

Plex Systems, the leader in cloud ERP for manufacturing, today announced a donation of $25,000 to the mikeroweWORKS Foundation. The foundation, run by Executive Producer and Host Mike Rowe of the hit TV series Dirty Jobs, is a 501(c)(3) public charity that works hard to debunk myths about the skilled trades and help close the skills gap. The check was presented to Rowe at PowerPlex 2017, the world’s largest gathering of cloud manufacturing professionals, who come together annually to learn and share how to advance their businesses and industries.

Making a Difference

The $25,000 donation will be used by the mikeroweWORKS Foundation to provide scholarships to people getting trained for skilled jobs that are in high demand through a variety of programs, including the Work Ethic Scholarship Program. To date, the foundation has granted, or helped facilitate the granting of, nearly $5 million in technical and vocational education for trade schools across the country.
