Object Management Group Presents DDS Technical Overview Complimentary Webinars

The Object Management Group® (OMG®), an international, open membership, not-for-profit technology standards consortium, today announced it is hosting three “DDS Technical Overview” complimentary webinars that will take an in-depth look at the OMG Data-Distribution Service™ (DDS™) standard. Participants will learn the essentials of DDS and data-centric systems; how to effectively exploit DDS Quality of Service to build applications that perform and scale; and how to secure a distributed DDS system.

OMG is offering this three-part series in response to the growing interest in the DDS market. The standard is already adopted in mission- and business-critical systems such as: air traffic control and management, train control systems, energy production systems, medical devices, autonomous vehicles, and smart cities. Experts from OMG and DDS middleware vendors will discuss how to leverage this mature and proven data-connectivity standard in mission-critical applications as well as in the Internet of Things.
