Cellcom Israel Announces Results of Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders

NETANYA, Israel, June 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE: CEL) (the "Company") announced today that its Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting") was held as planned on June 7, 2017, at which the following items were voted upon and duly approved by the Company's shareholders: 

    (1-2)            the re-election of Ronit Baytel
                     and Joseph Barnea as external
                     directors;

    (3)              the approval of remuneration to
                     the Company's Chairman of the
                     Board of Directors; and

    (4)              the approval of amendments to the
                     Company's Articles of
                     Association.
