BON Cloud Celebrates World Wisdom Day Held in the Cultural Attraction Pushou Temple

BEIJING, June 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- BON Cloud, with more than 6,000 English-language China-centric media assets ranging from business, technology, health and living, travel and lifestyle, to infotainment, all geared to the reproduction and broadcasting needs across the media spectrum, as well as audience distribution, celebrates World Wisdom Day as it releases its new video story entitled Wisdom of Mt. Wutai on their newly improved media platform.

World Wisdom Day was proposed in 2015 by Master Ru Rui, Head Nun at the Mt.Wutai Buddhist Nunnery and Academy. She believes this would help a lot of people to explore their own wisdom and learn from the teachings of Bodhisattvas Manjusri, who is well known for his profound insights and ideas.

Since then, Master Ru Rui annually hosts a World Wisdom conference where scholars, doctors, and Buddhist philosophers meet to exchange and share their knowledge about wisdom. This momentous event also coincides with the celebration of the birth of Manjusri or WenShu whose name means transcendent wisdom. The yearly assembly is held in Mt. Wutai, one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains in China.

At their second conference, they focused on how hundreds of nuns search for wisdom in their daily lives. These women have taken a step back to realize how empty and infinite their lives were. They have recognized the importance of searching for wisdom and learning that wisdom is the knowledge of who we are, and living meaningful lives, void of earthly wisdom, of material wealth, and of accomplishments.

The nuns in Mt. Wutai have shed light on the importance of the pursuit of wisdom and if expanded in our daily lives would bring us true peace and happiness. These women have gained a wider perspective in their lives by slowing down and realizing that the best version of themselves is not solely focused on becoming successful, owning a business, or making a lot of money. Their search for wisdom led them to work on themselves from within. They have focused on seeing through illusions, breaking free from attachment, and discovering their true nature.

As is the so-called 'human condition', we constantly make mistakes in our daily lives and with all that is happening around the world, the role of World Wisdom Day is becoming more apparent. By pursuing wisdom, we recognize our mistakes and the need to correct them. It can also lead us to practicing compassion and understanding for, according to Zen practice we are all intrinsically connected to one another. As Master Minghai the Abbot at Bailin Temple in Shijiazhaung, Henan Province, once said, "wisdom transcends nationality, religion and culture."
