Flying Car Production Facility Opened

KELOWNA, British Columbia, June 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Earlier this month, PAL-V the creators of the world's first commercially feasible flying car opened the doors to their new production facility in the Netherlands. The facility designed to fulfill early orders for the PAL-V Liberty flying car will commence production operations imminently.

"Most parts are ordered for the first machines and the first are in house, we will commence construction with an eye on deliveries to our first global clients in 2018 in to 2019," said Robert Dingemanse CEO.

Various dignitaries were in attendance at the event including PAL-V's partners and shareholders to witness what is a definite advancement in the aeronautics industry.

Importantly in a subsequent meeting the European Aviation agency EASA visited the Headquarters of PAL-V to discuss progress of the project.

EASA supervises the airworthiness certification process of the PAL-V Liberty as well as its organizational certification for design and production. By working closely together with one of the two world's leading regulatory authorities, the PAL-V Liberty complies with the existing regulations of most countries in the world and meets the very high standards set by EASA. The FAA is aligned with EASA for this ensuring as best as possible a smooth due diligence and certification process in North America.

The PAL-V Liberty will be world's first EASA certified gyroplane meeting these standards, another world premiere for the PAL-V Liberty.

Mark Jennings-Bates is the Vice President of Sales of PAL-V in North America and said his clients will welcome the update. "Naturally we are very excited about this on our side of the Atlantic," said Jennings-Bates, adding, "Our clients have put a lot of faith in our ability to execute our business plan and deliver the first flying car into the North American market.
