Mercury Systems Receives $5.5M Order for Weapons Application

Mercury Systems, Inc., announced it received a $5.5M follow-on order from a leading defense prime contractor for compact, highly ruggedized, system-in-package (SiP) devices for an airborne weapons application. The order was booked in the Company’s fiscal 2017 fourth quarter and is expected to be shipped over the next several quarters.

“Mercury’s unique three-dimensional packaging technology embeds both memory and a microprocessor in a single, military-hardened form factor ideal for the harsh operating environments typical of weapon applications,” said Charlie Leader, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mercury’s Advanced Microelectronics Solutions group. “Our valued customers and our nation’s warfighters can depend on Mercury to provide long-term, trusted supply chain continuity for military programs that matter to our national defense interests.”
