Sovereign Health Offers August Continuing Education Opportunities
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., Aug. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sovereign Health, a national behavioral health system, is hosting three continuing education (C.E.) events this month. These courses meet the qualifications for one hour of C.E. credit required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, and are approved for one contact hour by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
August 10 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. PDT - "Treating Mood and Behavior Disorders Without Medication" - Sovereign Health of Los Angeles - Cindy Dupuie, a certified nutritionist who aligns herself with the functional medicine community, will describe the relationship between inflammation in human body and behavior disorders, the possible sources of inflammation, nutrient depletion, and how to help clients with mood and behavior disorders beyond talk therapy.
