REV Group Announces Opening of New REV Technical Center (RTC) Providing Fire & Emergency Services in Florida

REV Group (NYSE: REVG), a $2.4 billion manufacturer of industry-leading specialty vehicle brands and leading provider of parts and services, announces the opening of a new REV Technical Center (RTC) in mid-August serving fire and emergency customers located at 6700 Powerline Road in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Improving longevity of fire and emergency vehicles, while keeping vehicles in service and on the road has long been a cornerstone of REV’s service mission. The need for this new facility in the South Florida region grew out of the increasing demand from customers for service and preventive maintenance.

“Opening this facility helps us improve on the already exceptional service REV Group provides our customers in Florida,” said Bill Alm, Vice President and General Manager of the REV Technical Center. “Our fire and emergency customers in Southern Florida will experience more convenient access through the new location, faster turnaround times and a better overall experience.”

The new 20,000 square foot RTC features a total of nine bays, capable of servicing a wide range of fire and emergency vehicle types, from the largest aerial fire trucks in North America to all ambulances manufactured by REV Group.

In addition, the facility features 2,000 square feet of warehousing space for parts inventory, ensuring the most common parts needed for service are readily available. For customer convenience, the service facility features a large office and conference space that provides the ability to conduct pre-build conferences and other client meetings.

Customers and suppliers will be invited to an open house at the facility in mid-August to experience the benefits of the new REV Technical Center firsthand.
