Next, you'll want to pay attention to the fine print! Some surge protector manufacturers include insurance to repair or replace your equipment. Be mindful of what kind, if any, insurance your power supply comes with and what steps you need to take to file claims in the event of a surge.

Step Two: Backup your backup!
