Hardinge Inc. Names B. Christopher DiSantis Chairman of the Board

Hardinge Inc. (NASDAQ:HDNG), a leading international provider of advanced metal-cutting solutions and accessories, today announced that its board of directors has appointed B. Christopher DiSantis as Chairman of the Board effective August 25, 2017. Mitchell I. Quain, who has served as Lead Independent Director for the past nine months, will remain on the board serving as Chairman of the nominating and governance committee and as a member of the compensation committee.

Mr. DiSantis joined the board of Hardinge in July 2016. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Verso Corporation, the leading North American producer of printing papers, specialty papers and pulp. He serves on the nominating and governance committee and the compensation committee.
