Henry Kissinger Joins Supervisory Board of the Luxembourg Forum on Preventing Nuclear Catastrophe

Dr. Henry Kissinger, former US Secretary of State and Nobel Peace Prize holder, has joined the Supervisory Board of the International Luxembourg Forum on Preventing Nuclear Catastrophe [http://www.luxembourgforum.org/en ].

Dr. Kissinger has played a prominent role in global politics for over five decades. He served as 56th Secretary of State of the United States, and held the position of National Security Advisor under Presidents Nixon and Ford. He is credited with negotiating the reduction of nuclear armaments through the Strategic Arms Limitation Talks and the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty. Dr. Kissinger was awarded the 1973 Nobel Peace Prize for his negotiation of the Paris Peace accords and bringing about the ceasefire ending the Vietnam War. He remains an internationally respected influential figure on contemporary foreign affairs.
