H-D Advanced Manufacturing Hires New President & CEO

H-D Advanced Manufacturing Company (HDAM) has promoted Michael Vincent to President & CEO. Vincent previously served as President of HDAM’s Engineered Solutions Group, overseeing four precision downhole tools businesses based in Houston and Edmonton, Alberta.

HDAM designs and manufactures extremely tight tolerance components primarily for the aerospace, oil and gas and mining industries through its nine operating businesses. The company’s particular product approach is the utilization of technology and comprehensive engineered solutions to meet the needs of customers’ mission critical applications.

HDAM Chairman Tom Hicks is enthusiastic about the appointment.

“Michael is an outstanding leader who has achieved excellent results at the helm of the Engineered Solutions Group. The Board believes he is a talented individual who will continue the growth and technology development we are seeing in our various operating divisions,” said Hicks.

Vincent has an extensive leadership background in manufacturing. Prior to joining HDAM, he was General Manager of Precision Castparts’ Energy Group. His other leadership roles include serving as President of Trump Equipment, Chief Financial Officer of Etatech and Director of Energy Products at Wyman-Gordon Forgings, among others.

As a multi-faceted group, HDAM continues to opportunistically evaluate accretive and strategic add-on acquisitions to enhance its position in the markets it serves. Vincent will play a key role in these efforts, along with HDAM’s senior management team, including SVP and CFO Dale Mikus, President and CEO of Precision Products Group Don Brown and President of Aerospace Technology Group Matt Isley.
