GeniusPros Technologies to Showcase Optical-Solid-State Surface Array Laser Radar Products at TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2017

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- GeniusPros Technologies (GPT), a global leader in the field of depth camera manufacturer, will attend TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2017 at the invitation of TechCrunch. It will display three optical-solid-state surface array laser radar products, the GP001A-16, GP002A, and GP003, in Startup Alley when the event opens on September 18.

Founded in 2015, GPT helps AI products integrate reliable 3D information to improve system accuracy, explore new applications, and exceed consumer expectations. Presently, its R&D team consists of over 30 highly qualified scientists and engineers with experience covering a wide range of cutting-edge areas, from Time-of-Flight (ToF) theory to electromechanical, algorithms, optics, and laser engineering to help enhance AI applications with advanced 3D sensor performance.

The three products that the company will showcase at Disrupt SF 2017 are typical items from GPT's three platforms:

-- The GP001A-16, a close-range platform with an effective detection range
of 32 feet (indoor) or 26 feet (outdoor). It uses Time-of-Flight
measurement technology and is designed for both indoor and outdoor
functions, making it ideal for security/surveillance, pedestrian
        monitoring, and intelligent ID.
-- The GP002A, a medium-range platform with an effective detection range of
98 feet (outdoor), also uses Time-of-Flight measurement technology and
is suitable for robot navigation and obstacle avoidance, UAV obstacle
        avoidance, and industrial robotics.
-- The GP003, a long-distance platform with an effective detection range of
492 feet (outdoor), utilizes a combination of multiple solid-state
LIDARs to maximize the utilization of laser energy. It doesn't rely on
ambient light, so the effective imaging distance can reach several
hundred meters. It provides advanced and low-cost optical inspection and
        ranging solutions for unmanned vehicles.

Attendees at the event will have the chance to interact with the GP002 in real-time to gain a better understanding of how the data and images are instantly de-coded into monitor screens.

"It is a great honor for us to be invited by TechCrunch to participate in DISRUPT SF 2017 as one of 35 companies in the field of AI technology. We are glad that our technology and products have gained more attention. With AI technology being used in more and more complicated industries and scenarios, GeniusPros' technology stands out from competitors," said Bruce Bai, CEO of GPT. "we feel encouraged and confident that we can successfully gain acceptance from and collaborate with overseas tech professionals especially after talking with Deep Tech, the exclusive partner with MIT Tech Review in China two weeks earlier."
