Invitation and Participation of IDE at EDA workshop for Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems

IDE (INTRACOM Defense Electronics) participated, after an invitation by the European Defense Agency (EDA), in a workshop on the long-term prospects of technologies and capabilities for military Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), which took place in Brussels.

IDE and ten (10) of the largest defense industries in Europe were the main speakers. IDE's presentation focused on the long-term outlook for RPAS, new types of missions and capabilities in the military context, aiming to bridge the gap between technology providers (industry) and end-users (armed forces).

IDE is actively involved in advanced technologies for unmanned aircraft having successfully developed, in collaboration with local research and industrial organizations, the Hellenic Civil Unmanned Air Vehicle (HCUAV).
