Defense Logistics Agency Names SupplyCore A Top Performing Industry Partner

ROCKFORD, Ill., Sept. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SupplyCore, a Rockford, Illinois-based supply chain management services and technology solutions integrator, recently made the Defense Logistics Agency's list of top performing industry partners for 2017.

The company was included in the Department of Defense's Superior Supplier Incentive Program, which aims to incentivize contractor performance by highlighting suppliers with the highest rankings for such areas as performance, quality and business relations. Selected companies account for more than $9 billion in annual DLA contract expenditures.

"SupplyCore is proud to be a longtime Defense Logistics Agency partner, and we are honored to be recognized by the organization as a superior supplier," said President and CEO Peter Provenzano. "We strive for excellence every day in providing supply chain management for our military and federal government agencies and work to continuously improve the process."

This is the second consecutive year the Defense Logistics Agency recognized SupplyCore as a top performing industry partner. DLA looked at its top 150 parts and commodity suppliers and selected 38 companies as superior suppliers in the gold, silver and bronze categories, based on their performance and average score from the last three years of Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) ratings. SupplyCore was included in the silver category.

SupplyCore was established in 1987 and currently employs 225 people. The company, which prides itself on its global agility and responsiveness, was recognized recently by Bloomberg Government as a top federal contractor for 2017.
