Linde Adds a Twist to Furnace Convection at Heat Treat 2017

BRIDGEWATER, N.J., Sept. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- At the 29(th) biennial Heat Treating Society Conference and Exposition, an expert from Linde LLC will detail field results on a new atmosphere mixing technology that can boost unit productivity and improve convection in heat treatment furnaces without the use of fans.

Heat Treat 2017 is the premier event for heat treating professionals in North America, featuring an exciting mix of new technology, exhibits, technical programming and networking events. Hosted by the ASM Heat Treating Society, this year's expo is set for October 24-26 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, OH.

Heat treatment furnaces traditionally utilize circulation fans to improve convection. However, these fans are prone to downtime for maintenance. Linde's technology eliminates the need for fans.
