Kit Launches Kickstarter For Build-It-Yourself T-Shirts
HOUSTON, Oct. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Kit, an online dressmaker offering custom fit clothing for women, launched yesterday a Kickstarter for "The Staple Tee:" a customizable t-shirt where women build their own t-shirts by choosing the style, neckline, length, fit and color for just $48.
Kit surveys found women are dissatisfied with t-shirts currently available: 50% of women feel their t-shirts aren't tailored enough, 53% find most material too sheer and 55% complain that their shirts are too short.

We thought, 'Let's give them the power to be their own designer, choosing the details that will make their t-shirt the perfect staple for their life,'" said Merin Guthrie.
With The Staple Tee, Kit is creating a custom t-shirt completely different from anything in the market. Merin and her team personally went through 500 knit cottons to find the ideal fabric: long lasting, breathable, travel-friendly, not a ton of shrinkage, while not being too thin or transparent.
