EthosEnergy Awarded $1.7M Contract for 50th icon™ LM6000 Control System

EthosEnergy has been awarded an icon™ control systems upgrade contract worth $1.7M at the Tilton Energy Center facility in Tilton, Illinois.

The full scope of the project includes installation of four icon™ LM6000 control systems, balance of plant controls, and a restructure of the plant network to consolidate it into a single control room.

Mike Moore, Senior Vice President of OAU at EthosEnergy said, “We have the knowledge and experience to not only modernize the control systems for the Tilton facility to improve plant reliability and availability, but also to help consolidate the site's operator work stations to one single control room instead of their separate units and process controls around the plant, significantly improving the ability to operate the facility more efficiently.

“Our existing O&M contract with the plant also meant that we were already familiar with the plant and its outdated networking, lowering the overall risk of the project.

“Our icon™ technology enhances plant flexibility and eradicates control system obsolescence which results in lower life cycle costs. This contract will also mark the 50th control system on the LM6000 that we have supplied.”
