More Than $10,000 in Prizes Up for Grabs at Upcoming New Orleans Hackathon

TURNERSVILLE, N.J., Oct. 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On November 4(th) and 5(th), Computer Measurement Group (CMG) and Tech Talent South will host SpeedNOLA, a weekend of workshops and competition, at Manning's Stadium Club in New Orleans. Participants will receive access to free app development and performance testing workshops and compete for more than $10,000 in prizes. The event is open to both experienced hackers and novices and there will be a cash prize for each level.

In addition to cash prizes, winners will receive opportunities for training from Tech Talent South and conference passes for CMG's 2018 event. Tech Talent South's instructor of UX Design, Elizabeth Nicholas, will lead the app creation workshop geared toward novices, teaching them how to create a workable MVP (minimum viable product). Participants will also take home raffle items and swag for their participation over the weekend. This hackathon is a part of CMG's 43rd annual imPACt Conference which will draw 200 performance and capacity professionals to New Orleans November 6-9.
