The LYND Company Continues to Support Our American Veterans by Offering Housing Solutions

The LYND Company is excited to announce our newest addition to the Veteran housing program. The Rubix is a 236 unit apartment community consisting of approximately 63,700 square feet. This is truly a unique asset; 30% of the community is currently housing active military and veterans alike, making it a perfect fit for this program. The $13 million asset is conveniently located next to the Nellis Air Force base in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are proud to have supported the purchase of this community through the Invest in America’s Veterans Foundation (IAVF). This property offers furnished studio apartments with modern interiors, a full-body fitness center, a large fenced dog park, and a Veterans Community Center. All of these amenities will help to support our Veterans as they work through the many challenges of returning to civilian life.

Founded in 2008 by Ralph A. Santillo, IAVF is a non-profit organization designed to serve America’s veterans by offering assistance and services; last year alone IAVF assisted over 750 veterans. These services include: job placement assistance DD-214 retrieval, counseling services, suicide prevention, food assistance, and housing assistance. Ralph, an Army veteran himself, knows the difficulties many servicemen and servicewomen face when returning to civilian life.

This new addition will elevate the IAVF portfolio to $113 million consisting of seven communities with 2,105 units. This portfolio now expands across five different states. These states include: Nevada, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Our plan is to continue to grow and purchase communities in areas where our veterans need housing assistance and support.

Adam David Lynd, President and CEO of The LYND Company, states, “We will continue to support IAVF with funding and management services. Our desire is to see this program grow. We wish to further expand the program across the country by purchasing $400 to $500 million in properties per year. We find great satisfaction in supporting our American Veterans and hope others will join us to expand this portfolio nationwide.”
