Arcimoto 'Presses Start' with Inauguration of New Manufacturing Facility, Celebration of 2,000 Pre-Orders and Showcase of First-Ever Production Vehicle

Arcimoto, Inc.® (NASDAQ: FUV), makers of the world’s first Fun Utility Vehicle™ (FUV) — an affordable and practical pure electric vehicle for everyday commuters and fleets, today announced highlights from the “Press Start” celebratory grand opening of the Company’s newly renovated Arcimoto Manufacturing Plant (AMP) located in West Eugene, which took place Saturday, November 11. More than 700 friends and supporters of Arcimoto took part in the festivities, including company executives, staff, investors, media, and government dignitaries. The event marked another key milestone for the Company, having recently surpassed 2,000 pre-orders for the Arcimoto FUV, representing a total of more than $30 million in anticipated revenue.

The evening’s events featured tours of the new 30,000 square foot plant, food and refreshments, live music, and more. The plant tours included a first look at Arcimoto’s newly delivered, state-of-art fabrication equipment which can scale to produce an estimated 28,000 FUV chassis and frames annually. In addition to commemorating the plant opening, everyone on-hand helped celebrate the completion of the first-ever Signature Series FUV production vehicle.

The Company also announced that Frohnmayer will provide the keynote address for the Venture Community III conference on November 14 in Portland, Oregon. Venture Community, an event created and run by Starve Ups, is Oregon’s original reverse roadshow for startups from every industry in the midst of a Series Seed or Series A funding round. The event provides 26 selected, fund-ready startups the chance to present to nine premier West Coast Angel and VC funds. Frohnmayer, who received the company’s original institutional funding for Arcimoto as a result of pitching the Portland-based Venture Community I, will share his advice, progress updates and the company’s journey from inception to IPO.

Later this week, Frohnmayer will participate on a panel entitled "Treading Lightly: Clean Transport for our Urban Future" at the LA CoMotion Expo and Festival on New Mobility. The panel is a part of the "Cities in Motion" thought leadership conference which runs November 15-17, followed by the Expo & Festival, which takes place November 18-19 in the LA Arts District and is open to the general public. He will be joined on the panel on Friday, November 17 at 5:45 p.m. by global thought leaders on the topic from Paris, London and Copenhagen. Arcimoto Generation 8 Alpha vehicles will be on display and available for short test drives during the public expo on Saturday and Sunday.

Next up, Arcimoto will actively participate in AutoMobility LA, the official press event and automotive industry trade event of the LA Auto Show, which takes place November 27-30 throughout the LA Convention Center, capped off by an Arcimoto press conference on November 30, 11:45 a.m. - 12:10 p.m., South Hall Atrium at the convention center. The following day the Company kicks off its participation in the 2017 LA Auto Show which runs December 1-10. Arcimoto is located in Booth SL7B in the South Atrium of LA Convention Center; 9:00 a.m. to close each day.

Concurrent with the LA Auto Show, CEO Mark Frohnmayer will present Arcimoto to over 1,000 attendees at the LD Micro Main Event, the largest independent conference for small/micro-cap companies.
