CSRA to Provide Aircraft Modification Support to U.S. Navy H-60 Seahawk Helicopter Program

The U.S. Navy has tasked CSRA LLC., a subsidiary of CSRA Inc., with upgrading various models of U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales H-60 Seahawk helicopters.

CSRA will provide design, fabrication, assembly, and support for the rapid prototyping and system installation of engineering change-modifications to the H-60 aircraft.

The $38.5 million task order under the R2-3G contract will be performed at CSRA’s New Bern, N.C. facility, as well as primary government locations to include Naval Base Coronado, Calif. and Naval Station Norfolk, Va.

“Naval H-60 aircraft are undergoing critical modifications to meet the warfighters’ needs,” said Nick Trzcinski, CSRA’s Vice President for Navy & USMC. “The U.S. Navy is providing new, technically-advanced systems to upgrade this aircraft with features unavailable when they were first fielded. CSRA is proud to support this crucial effort.”

“With this award, CSRA will continue its decades-long, uninterrupted support for the H-60 Fleet Support Team,” said Ken Deutsch, CSRA’s Executive Vice President for Defense. “CSRA is honored to continue this legacy for Naval Aviation and the Seahawk platform.”

This latest win builds upon CSRA’s recent $5.4 million task order award for upgrades to the U.S. Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier II short takeoff, vertical landing jet aircraft. That task order was awarded to support the AV-8 Fleet Support Team at Fleet Readiness Center East, Cherry Point, N.C.
