Narvar Appoints Former TForce Logistics and Airborne Express Executive as VP of Logistics

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Narvar, the post-purchase experience leader, today announced it has hired Chris Miller as Vice President of Logistics. Miller will oversee Narvar's rapidly expanding relationships with more than 300 carriers across the globe, and drive the vision for seamless logistics experiences for both retailers and their customers. Narvar has also hired Srivatsa Narasimhan as VP of India Operations to lead Narvar's efforts in APAC.

"What consumers expect once they click the "buy" button is changing every day. Groceries delivered straight to your fridge and on-demand delivery within hours, not days, are now reality," said Amit Sharma, Founder and CEO of Narvar. "Chris and Srivatsa will be joining us in our mission to simplify the lives of consumers by helping retailers stay competitive in this evolving environment."

Simplifying the complexity of retail logistics

Chris Miller most recently served as General Manager and Vice President of TForce Logistics, where he helped optimize the customer experience through the management of last mile delivery on behalf of retailers, wholesalers and pharma customers. He brings a deep knowledge of global carrier networks, logistics providers, transportation systems and current and future market trends from his professional career. Miller will oversee and grow Narvar's carrier integrations to ensure that the company's suite of products benefit the full ecosystem of carriers, retailers and consumers. He'll also be responsible for providing professional support to Narvar's retail clients and supporting the company's position on last-mile delivery experiences as they become industry standards.

"As people demand more efficient and effortless ways to get their favorite products, carriers and retailers alike must ensure their logistics keep pace," said Miller. "As the first to define the post-purchase market category, Narvar is uniquely positioned to help both parties unify and simplify the experience for consumers. I'm looking forward to bringing my lifetime of experience in logistics to bear for our retail partners and our carrier partners."

Growing Narvar's capabilities in India

To his role of VP of India Operations, Srivatsa Narasimhan brings more than twenty years of experience in engineering, product management, and services spanning domains like enterprise products, social gaming and telecom. Most recently, as General Manager of Zynga India, Narasimham managed a portfolio of three global game products generating $15M a quarter, while building and leading a team of 100+. At Narvar, he'll be responsible for building and scaling the India organization to enable the growth plans of the company globally, while helping establish the company's presence in India and other emerging Asia-Pacific markets.

"Our aim is to make Narvar India instrumental to the success of the organization worldwide, and that starts with creating a world-class team," said Narasimhan.

Miller and Narasimhan are two of four hires to join Narvar's executive team this year, as the company scales to meet growing demand for its post-purchase platform worldwide. They join Bryan Wargo, SVP of Worldwide Sales, formerly of RetailNext, and Rod Cherkas, SVP of Customer Success, formerly of Marketo.
