KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Nov. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- MisterTyre Malaysia Sdn Bhd ("MisterTyre") has signed an Internship Partnership Agreement with the TOC Automotive College ("TOC") to develop Malaysian Car Care Professionals for the digital economy. The Internship Programme provides TOC's students with practical on-the-job experience and exposure to the digital economy for automotive services and e-commerce.
MisterTyre is first in the world to launch a mobile app that offers to customers new tyres from 28 global brands, rotation and front wheel alignment, engine oil service and battery via a mobile delivery service. MisterTyre's highly trained car care professionals also perform a free 12-point check for customers to ensure that every key aspect of their car is monitored. Appointment slots are available daily from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. to suit car owners' busy schedules. The substantial cost savings of digital economy and "direct from the manufacturer" supply chain is passed on to the consumer through MisterTyre's "Best Price Guarantee" commitment.
TOC Automotive College ("TOC") is a pioneer in professional automotive education in Malaysia. It has been accorded with multiple local and international awards in the education and skills industry. The Internship Agreement was signed by Mr. Dennis Melka, the executive director and founder of MisterTyre, and Madam Adelaine LK Foo, the CEO of TOC Automotive College.

These young technicians will be trained in the usage of high-end equipment whilst learning the soft skills for customer engagement in a tech-enabled, mobile environment."

This Internship Partnership Agreement was signed on 14 November 2017, at TOC Automotive College, based in Petaling Jaya. The Internship Programme will commence in January 2018, after which outstanding trainees may be offered a full-time placement at MisterTyre.
