Brian McGowan Joins Atwell

Consulting, engineering and construction services firm Atwell, LLC is pleased to welcome Brian McGowan to our team as Environmental Project Manager. Based in Atwell’s Naperville, Illinois office, McGowan will provide environmental leadership support and oversight to power and energy, land development, and oil and gas clients throughout the Midwest.

McGowan brings over 15 years of experience providing consulting assistance in wetland restoration and mitigation projects, conducting Soil Erosion and Sediment Control (SESC) Inspections, researching, developing and implementing phyto-remedial and bio-remedial technologies, and conducting wetland determinations and delineations. His experience also includes navigating through the regulatory requirements, permitting, and strategy development with his clients.

McGowan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science from Illinois State University, and is a Certified Conservation Planner, a Certified Wetland Delineator and earned Certificates for Conservation Marketing, and Soil Survey. He is a member of the Environmental Learning Summit Board of the Midwest Energy Association, co-founder of Chicago Minority Business Association, and a member of the Society of Wetland Scientists.
