The Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada announces that Grandstand 24 shall now be known as the Lance Stroll Grandstand

MONTRÉAL, Nov. 23, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - For his second Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada, on Sunday June 10 of next year, when he steers into the Hairpin at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, Williams Martini Racing driver Lance Stroll will be able to see the spectators of the Lance Stroll Grandstand wearing Canadian colours. On the morning of the race, ticket holders in the Lance Stroll Grandstand will receive an exclusive cap and t-shirt which they'll be able to wear during the race and thus support the young Canadian driver.

"Montréal gave Lance Stroll a very warm welcome in 2017 and he responded by scoring the first points of his career. With more experience and cheered on by the thousands of fans in this imposing grandstand, we wish to help him repeat the feat", declared François Dumontier, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada.

Those who wish to attend next year's Canadian Grand Prix, on June 8, 9, and 10 2018, while we celebrate 40 years of Formula 1 in Montréal, in the Lance Stroll Grandstand (or any other grandstand) may order their seats directly from the event's web site at www.gpcanada.ca or by calling 514-350-0000 weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

A Montreal-based Canadian company, Octane Racing Group Inc. is the promoter of FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA through an agreement made with Formula One Administration Limited and Formula 1 World Championship Limited (which, together, hold the commercial rights to F1).
