Porsche Cars Canada announces Marc Ouayoun as new President and CEO

Alexander Pollich to head Porsche Cars Great Britain - Change in leadership effective January 1, 2018

TORONTO, Nov. 24, 2017 /CNW/ - Porsche Cars Canada announced today the appointment of Marc Ouayoun as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2018. He succeeds Alexander Pollich who will assume a new role as Managing Director at Porsche Cars Great Britain, also effective January 1, 2018. Under Mr. Pollich's leadership since September 2013, Porsche in Canada has reached 70 months of consecutive growth in sales, meaningfully increased its dealer network count, relocated and expanded its corporate headquarters, including their first training facility.

As the subsidiary's next President and CEO, Mr. Ouayoun brings extensive automotive business management experience to lead Porsche's continued growth in Canada. For the past six years, he has been the Managing Director at Porsche France. Mr. Ouayoun joined the brand in 2006 to oversee the sales and network development within the French organization. His career began in 1995 at Daimler and held various marketing positions in France, Germany, and Great Britain.

Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd., a dedicated subsidiary of Porsche AG, imports and distributes Porsche vehicles in Canada. The company employs more than 50 people in sales, aftersales, finance, marketing, network development, and public relations. In 2016, Porsche sold an unprecedented 7,061 sports cars in Canada, up 10 percent over the prior year.
