“Yamaha has a great deal of respect for the role the Georgia DNR plays in managing Georgia’s wildlife and, in particular, our fisheries,” said Speciale. “This organization contributes greatly to the sportsmen and sportswomen across the state, and on behalf of the 1,800 Yamaha employees in Georgia, I am proud to show our support of Georgia DNR through the donation of these boats and outboards.”

Two of the G3 boats donated to the Georgia DNR are equipped with Yamaha F25 outboards, the third boat is equipped with a Yamaha F30 outboard, and the fourth boat is powered by a Yamaha F40 outboard. All four boats are suitable for handling the difficult, tight maneuvering situations that can occur during search and rescue in the instance of a natural disaster.

“During an emergency or natural disaster, it is critical that our team has access to the best equipment in order to carry out our job successfully,” said Col. Henderson. “Yamaha appreciates the importance of these situations and understands our need for safe, reliable vessels. Yamaha’s support means a great deal to the Georgia DNR, and the donation of these boats could ultimately save lives down the road.”
