CACI Cyber Range Achieves ISO 27001:2013 for IT Security

CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI) announced today that its Cyber Range is now certified against the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001:2013 credential for information security policies and practices. The certification provides independent verification that CACI’s Cyber Tools Network Administration, known as the CACI Cyber Range, adheres to the best practices defined by the ISO standard.

The CACI Cyber Range is a controlled test environment that allows users near-instantaneous simulation of complex infrastructure, client, and device interfaces. Each of these capabilities can be used independently or concurrently, allowing customers and CACI employees to securely perform real-world cyber exercises and testing in a realistic “live-fire” virtual training environment.

The ISO 27001:2013 certification was earned following an external audit that included a comprehensive and thorough examination of CACI’s Cyber Range information security policies and practices. Receiving the ISO 27001:2013 certification represents a key milestone in the company’s plan to achieve compliance with National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-171, the federal government’s set of requirements for the safeguarding of defense information and cyber incident reporting. The company’s internal information security policies and practices earned the certification in 2016.

CACI Chief Operating Officer John Mengucci said, “CACI is a leader in full-spectrum cyber operations, and our Cyber Range allows us to securely test new capabilities for our customers. The ISO 27001:2013 certification is a demonstration of CACI’s commitment to ensuring our IT infrastructure, policies, and practices meet the highest industry and government standards. It allows our customers to have full confidence that CACI consistently safeguards infrastructure and information.”
