SUEZ Expands Capabilities and Expertise in Concrete Restoration Services with the Acquisition of Indiana-Based Odle, Inc.

SUEZ North America today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Odle, Inc., an Indiana-based, full-service painting and coatings contractor specializing in large commercial, municipal and industrial projects.

“The acquisition of Odle expands our capabilities and reinforces our service offering at a time when there is a large market need for concrete rehabilitation and maintenance services,” says Eric Gernath, CEO of SUEZ North America. “Odle represents a good fit for SUEZ, since we share the same culture of safety, dependability and a focus on providing excellent service to our customers.”

Founded in 1918, Odle, Inc. has significant experience in five areas of expertise including restoration of water and wastewater facilities, protection of concrete floors, tank and secondary containment coatings/linings, maintenance of industrial facilities and architectural painting and wallcovering. Odle is a certified applicator for most high-performance coatings manufacturers and their team of experts have completed several large projects throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Over the years, SUEZ has developed comprehensive and sustainable solutions intended to restore concrete structures to like-new condition and then coat them with high-performance coatings to provide long-term protection and extend their service life. The company’s approach involves thorough condition assessments, repair specifications and the execution of custom-designed rehabilitations in accordance with all federal regulations.

Most recently, SUEZ secured several large concrete projects including the rehabilitation of clarifiers at Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission’s Newark, NJ-based wastewater plant, the rehabilitation of the Neuse River Resource Recovery Facility for the City of Raleigh, NC, and the comprehensive restoration of chlorine contact channels at the Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.
