Dr. Amol Soin Reappointed to the State Medical Board of Ohio by Governor Kasich
DAYTON, Ohio, April 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Amol Soin, CEO of Soin Neuroscience, was recently reappointed to the state medical board of Ohio by Governor Kasich. Soin, whose term was to end in March 2018 is now reappointed to another 5 year term set to end in March 2023. Dr. Soin's expertise in pain management has been helpful for Ohio that is currently managing the opioid crisis. "I am excited to be a part of the great work of the Ohio Medical Board as we continue to make progress in opioid prescribing habits and I look forward to working with the medical board on many other items over the next 5 years," Dr Soin noted.
Additionally, last month Dr. Soin attended the 20(th) Annual American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) meeting in Orlando, Florida. At that meeting, Dr. Soin won the award for "Outstanding Research" from the society. Dr. Soin was the only physician to receive the outstanding research award. "I am pleased to see that the work and research we do at Soin Neuroscience got recognized from one of the leading pain management societies in world. Dr. Soin was also recently elected president of the Society of Interventional Pain Management Surgery Centers and the ASIPP Foundation, which are affiliated organizations to the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
