PITTSBURGH, May 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I needed to prevent contractors and operators on site from opening valves in the digester," said an inventor from Belleville, N.J. He developed the FAB LOCKOUT DEVICE to serve as a safety lockout device for use on 2-inch-square operator nuts. It works with any standard valve in the water, wastewater, petroleum, natural-gas, aviation, fuel and farm industries. The unit allows the component to be chained and locked out from use. This prevents accidental or unauthorized opening of said valve, which minimizes the risk of injury and/or death. All of this is designed to enhance personal safety.
