Ryan Hires Ray Melone as Principal in the Firm's Sales and Use Tax Practice
DALLAS, Nov. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Ryan, a leading global tax services and software provider, announced Ray Melone has joined the Firm as principal, Sales and Use Tax, based in New York, NY. Melone brings 23 years of experience in all areas within sales and use tax, including 20 years specifically in public accounting, across the manufacturing, retail, not-for-profit and exempt organizations, distribution, technology, hospitality, legal, life sciences, construction, and financial services industries.

Most recently, Melone served as partner and New Jersey and New York sales and use tax practice leader with a Big Four accounting firm where he successfully leveraged indirect tax teams across the Northeast and grew engagements. Prior to this, he was a partner with a global accounting firm, serving as the indirect tax practice leader, where he built from the ground up the indirect tax practice in the New York/New England market territory.
