Plumbline Consulting Announces Progressus Advanced Project Accounting Enhancements for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

FINDLAY, Ohio, May 5, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Plumbline Consulting is pleased to announce the release of numerous enhancements to its Progressus Advanced Product Accounting (APA) solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. APA is the leading global solution for professional services and project-based businesses that have deep project accounting requirements. The latest release enhances the flexibility of invoice scheduling, simplifying milestone billing and adding support for subscription billing.

The addition of subscription billing also includes enhancements for revenue recognition to serve the needs of not only professional service firms but technology companies who sell Software as a Service (SaaS) or other types of subscription services. The capabilities of APA also provide better U.S. GAAP compliance around revenue recognition rules. With the addition of subscription billing and the enhancements to scheduled and milestone billing, APA offers one of the most flexible invoicing solutions on the market.

Also being released is a new optional module, called PowerPack. PowerPack adds additional capabilities to APA for those customers who want deeper integration with Microsoft technologies. It adds extended Outlook integration for time entry and planning, saving time in submitting timecards. PowerPack also enhances reporting capabilities with a Power BI data set and includes additional reports, along with a configurable dashboard. Visualization and maintenance of project schedules is enhanced through its Gantt Chart capabilities with full drag and drop functionality. For project-based companies who order materials or produce inventory for specific projects, the enhanced supply chain integration takes full advantage of Business Central's capabilities to allow for purchasing, assembling, and producing items for a specific project with links to individual tasks. Finally, PowerPack adds integrations to Jet Reports reporting module to provide even further flexibility for tailored project reporting.

According to Robbie Morrison, General Manager for Progressus, "These enhancements, which include our customers most requested features, will be rolled out to users through the existing Business Central update cycles over the next few weeks. We continue to enhance the depth and breadth of project-based capabilities in our Advanced Project Accounting application providing small and medium-sized businesses with powerful cloud-based business solutions."

Pricing for the Progressus Advanced Project Accounting and the optional PowerPack is available from authorized Progressus partners worldwide.
