TASC Now Offers Single Sign-On Access to its Universal Benefit Account

MADISON, Wis., June 18, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- TASC (Total Administrative Services Corporation), the nation's largest private third-party benefits administrator, has begun offering Single Sign-On (SSO) access to its Universal Benefit Account®, which provides more than fifty possible employee benefits from a single, instantly configurable platform.

TASC SSO allows employees to access all their benefits through a single set of sign-in credentials, rather than creating separate IDs and passwords for each separate benefit account. Potentially, they can utilize the same credentials to access their benefits that they use to log into their company's primary portal.

Employees can either go directly to the TASC Universal Benefit Account website for sign-in or utilize a link to their benefits from a company's website or email communications. It's the simplest and most direct form of SSO available today. And it can be implemented to meet all current industry standards and protocols for security.

In addition to helping alleviate "password fatigue"--the frustration that comes with having to create and remember many different login credentials--SSO saves company HR resources, since fewer passwords to remember mean fewer that are forgotten and need to be reset. SSO also makes it easier for the company to turn off access to accounts once an employee has left the organization.

"SSO is flexible and scalable," says Mike Nell, TASC Chief Technology Officer. "And it lets you offer employees the user experience they're coming to expect. Since it's faster, easier, and less frustrating, it helps increase utilization of the benefits employers offer and boost the satisfaction they want those benefits to bring their employees. It's a seamless experience for both employees and HR."

TASC works with the employer to implement SSO, integrating with their existing authentication solution. Depending on the circumstances, implementation can be accomplished in a matter of days or weeks.
