Mercy College Wins the Hobsons Education Advances Award for Admission

ARLINGTON, Va., July 30, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Hobsons, the education technology leader enabling student success, recently selected Mercy College as the 2020 winner of Hobsons Education Advances Award (EAA) for Admission.

Each year, Hobsons recognizes academic institutions that contribute toward a future in which all students advance toward their full potential. Nearly 60 institutions submitted their success stories for awards in three categories. Hobsons recently announced the winners in all categories, including Admission.

The finalists for Admission demonstrated successful practices in attracting students and improving overall recruitment efforts. By using Intersect by Hobsons, Mercy College enrollment managers implemented data-informed practices to reach Naviance students who are best-fit for their programs. As a result, Mercy has significantly broadened its inquiry and applicant pools.

"Empowering students with the right information about their higher education choices is more important than ever. At Hobsons, we believe colleges and universities play an important role in presenting new possibilities to students," said Kate Cassino, CEO of Hobsons.
