Lexington Toyota welcomes 2021 Corolla and 2021 Corolla Hybrid to its showroom
LEXINGTON, Mass., Aug. 31, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The class of 2021 Toyota vehicles has started to roll into the Lexington Toyota showroom. As is often the case, the Toyota Corolla is leading the way as one of the first new models to arrive. Additionally, the automaker has also sent the latest version of the Toyota Corolla Hybrid to the Lexington-based dealership as well. Both Corolla models continue the nameplate's long-running legacy of world-class fuel economy and overall reliability. However, for the new model year, Toyota is introducing a new trim grade for the gasoline-powered version, called Apex. It will deliver more refined styling that will also complement its athletic aesthetic. Finally, all versions of the 2021 Corolla will be equipped with the latest Toyota connectivity equipment the automaker has to offer.
Toyota will only be producing 6,000 Apex models for the 2021 model year. Lexington Toyota customers will be able to tell the Apex version of the Corolla apart from the rest of the lineup by its pronounced rear wing black front splitter and the piano black accents covering the compact sedan's interior.
Obviously, the chief difference between the 2021 Toyota Corolla and 2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid will be the level of fuel economy each version can demonstrate. Versions of the gasoline-powered Corolla will be able to record approximately 30 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon or more on the highway. A Corolla with a continuously variable transmission can just about hit 40 mpg on the highway. As for the 2021 Corolla Hybrid, owners should have little trouble achieving 53 mpg in the city and 52 mpg on the highway.
Every 2021 Corolla, hybrid platform or no, will have the latest Toyota infotainment system that will be able to access both the Android Auto(TM) and Apple CarPlay® suites of applications. Owners who own an Amazon Alexa digital assistant can enable Alexa Toyota Skills and interact with their vehicle from their home. A 4G Wi-Fi hotspot is also available.
