MaintenX International Swings into Fall Giving at Charity Events
TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 5, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- When it comes to giving, MaintenX believes in coming out swinging - the golf clubs, that is! MaintenX has sponsored two unique charity golf tournaments benefitting important non-profits across the nation. Even though social distancing precautions changed some elements of the fundraisers, one important element that did not change was the support and awareness raised for organizations doing good for those in need.
For the 15th year, MaintenX International joined CVS for fun and philanthropy at the CVS Health Charity Classic. While the event format shifted to largely virtual, the ability to fundraise for nonprofit organizations throughout Southern New England was still alive and well. From virtual auctions and cocktail classes to online celebration, the opportunities for donations were plentiful. Over the last 22 years, the charity event has contributed more than $23 million dollars to hundreds of non-profit organizations across the region, with a focus on health, education and support for children and families.
Additionally, MaintenX was the 'Hole in One' sponsor of the 10th annual 'Golfing FORE Habitat' tournament, benefitting the Habitat for Habitat of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties. All proceeds from the event help support affordable housing opportunities for individuals and families in the communities around MaintenX's hometown of Tampa. In all, the event raised $125,000 and the winner of the 50/50 raffle donated their entire prize back to Habitat to help them continue to fulfill their mission.

MaintenX also participates in other variety of other charity events. The pandemic has highlighted the importance of giving back, and MaintenX has stepped up to the call. In 2020, MaintenX has supported children going back to school through Backpacks of Hope, has sponsored two Habitat for Humanity home builds, and is working hard on bringing joy to children through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.
