S&K Aerospace Awarded $44M US Army MASPO Third Party Logistics Contract for Helicopter Parts Procurement
The U.S. Army has selected S&K Aerospace, LLC (SKA) as one of four contractors for a multimillion-dollar, multiple-award, delivery order contract. The contract is for Third-Party Logistics (3PL) support of aircraft parts for various non-standard rotary wing platforms. The contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Contracting Command located at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama and supports the mission of the U.S. Army’s Multi-National Aviation Special Project Office (MASPO).
MASPO provides support to customers worldwide for a variety of former Department of Defense (DoD), commercial, and foreign military rotary wing aircraft, including:
- MD-530
- MD-500
- Bell 200/400 series
- UH-1, Huey-II
- AH-6
As one of the four awardees, SKA will compete for firm fixed price delivery orders to be issued against this estimated $43,546,590 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract. SKA is a leading 3PL provider with strategic relationships among multiple original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
